I come from a family of nine children, four sisters and four brothers of which I am the youngest.

Of my four sisters, three of them make quilts and with the help of one sister, Cathy, I decided to go with the Leeder Quilting Trend and create one myself.

I have always sewed and had lessons at secondary school, but the added benefit was that my mother was a very talented sewer, crocheter and knitter. No doubt this creativeness is in my blood and have totally enjoyed the challenge of quilting.

MY QUILTS

This quilt with a farm theme, was made for my god daughter, Karina’s Baby, Anna. Karina was bought up on farms an loved this theme for her daughter.

I pull the colors out of the printed material which draws the colors out and bring them together as a piece of artwork.

This quilt I made for my granddaughter, Tilda for her first birthday.
